Love is spelled S-A-C-R-I-F-I-C-E ..

Another poem I wrote a long time back. Hope it strikes a chord with you. :-)

The songbird named Love, oh how sweetly it sings
Longing to feel, the wind beneath its wings
But alas, your desire, you rarely ever gain
Sometimes, for someone, you have to smile through your pain


After all, Love and Loss, they go hand in hand
Brothers they are, like waves and sand
The thing that you love, go set it free
Your loss, your pain will make it last for all of Eternity ..

Our Story ..

On the first page of this story,
Our future seemed so bright.
Then this thing turned so evil,
Was too surprised to even fight.


Angels have their wicked schemes,
And you take them to new extremes.
But you'll always be my loveliest find,
Even though you've lost your mind.


You're just gonna stand there and watch me burn.
But that alright coz I love the way it hurts ..

P.S. This is not an original. It was heavily inspired from "Love The Way You Lie" by Rihanna and Eminem. Just changed the point of view and some lines.
Kudos to Eminem and Rihanna for such an awesome song.
